Matchfire combines data and insight to help companies identify and achieve their social purpose. We then work to extend that purpose in a way that lifts their business, wins over their consumers, and builds loyalty with their workforce. Our purpose-centric marketing brings results: we’ve run more than 1000 campaigns, mobilized millions of consumers, and helped raise more than $150M for good causes. In addition to being CEO of Matchfire, Chris leads Matchfire’s Purpose and Technology practices.
Chris has championed new technologies and formed winning teams around them for almost 20 years, starting by running political campaigns and then pivoting to a tech startup adventure during the dot-com boom. He’s built and sold companies (and crashed a few too) in such diverse areas as online learning, mobile advertising, e-commerce, network management, and digital marketing. Since 2010, Chris has focused on purpose-centric business models, launching new ideas and new products at the intersection of Celebrity, Brand, and Cause.
