How Businesses and Community Leaders are Actively Creating a Flourishing Detroit

For businesses to maximize their value, the communities in which they operate need to be flourishing. They are inextricably linked. This panel will explore this linkage with the real-world example of the Detroit Climate Action Collaborative (DCAC). The panelists will share DCAC’s approach to addressing climate change in Michigan’s largest urban centerDetroit. Why is it important to have partners from diverse backgrounds when developing a climate action plan and how it is a recipe for “redefining the good life.” They will specifically highlight the unique collaboration between the business community and environmental justice, and lastly why is it important for companies located in large cities in particular, to participate in joint sustainability efforts.
