Quantifying Social Capital: Measuring & Reporting Progress to Stakeholders
Wednesday 20 November 2019
from 8:00 to 9:00
Commonwealth D
Breakout Session
It has long been argued that the “S” in ESG is the most difficult to measure, let alone manage and disclose. But companies are under increasing pressure not only to do just that, but to actually create new and more innovative ways of determining performance. The quantification of social capital—putting actual values on human potential, relationships, and networks—is a new and pressing concern. This panel brings together key voices from the corporate, investor, exchange, accounting, and standards-setting space to discuss. Attendees will not only get a quick education in the history of this topic, but actionable guidance on best practices as various stakeholder needs converge.
