Todd Wegner is the Senior Manager, Global Public Affairs at Laureate Education. In this role, he oversees all B Corp related activities and initiatives, including Laureate’s B Corp certification, developing strategies for improving Laureate’s impact, telling the Laureate sustainability story, and finding community engagement opportunities for Laureate’s 1,000,000+ students and 60,000+ staff and faculty.
In 2017, Todd led the 2017 global Certified B Corporation recertification for Laureate Education, the largest Certified B Corporation in the world at the end of 2017. This included developing strategies for improving Laureate’s impact and taking Laureate’s 60 institutions in 20 countries and 6 continents through the recertification process.
His work experience prior to joining Laureate includes time at the United Nations, World Bank, and Inter-American Development Bank working on social and environmental sustainability initiatives. He also spent four years working as a civil engineer doing water and sanitation permitting and compliance for the US Environmental Protection Agency.
Todd holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University, and a BS in Civil Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.
