Rylan provides sustainability and water stewardship consulting services to both private sector and NGO clients. He specializes in supporting his clients develop and implement contextual sustainability strategies and water stewardship programs.
His background in environmental biotechnology, project management and business consulting allows him to offer his clients a unique set of skills and perspectives that can be leveraged to strengthen their sustainability work. For over 10 years, Rylan has worked with clients in Africa, Europe and North America.
He is co-author of the paper, “Exploring the Case for Corporate Context-Based Water Targets,” which calls for companies to set water targets that explicitly account for their unique hydrological contexts. He is also the co-author of the Embedding Project’s “Road to Context” resources, which outlines a framework that companies can use to develop contextual strategies and goals for their relevant socio-ecological issues.
