TRACK: SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT & MONITORING

Regenerative forestry through a multi-industry collaboration at the nexus of climate, nature and nature-based commodities

To advance their highly aligned brand aspirations to create regenerative supply chains, Walmart, Nestle and Brambles (CHEP) are raising the bar on policies, practices and cross-supply chain collaboration, with particular focus on the nexus of climate, nature, and nature-based commodities. This session will focus on regenerative forestry, highlighting Walmart’s new and aggressive forestry policy as well as current examples from Nestle addressing deforestation policies and Brambles’ forestry certifications, chain of custody practices, and on-the-ground regenerative forestry and community projects. The overarching intention of this discussion is to inspire others to think bigger and collaborate more ambitiously across supply chains.

Learning outcomes:

  • Why and how great things are possible and within reach when you think big and collaborate boldly
  • How regenerative supply chains can drive business, environmental and social outcomes
  • How to think and act in terms of nexus solutions, and how they apply to the nexus of climate and nature/biodiversity specifically
