Hilltop High School in Chula Vista, CA, serves a diverse and underserved community facing extreme heat and low tree canopy. This project will plant up to 50 drought-tolerant, climate-resilient trees across campus to restore lost shade, improve air quality, reduce runoff, and support biodiversity. Part of Tree San Diego\u2019s Grow With Me initiative, the planting will engage volunteers in hands-on environmental learning while creating a cooler, healthier, and more climate-resilient school environment. Long-term care will be supported through partnerships with school staff and student groups to ensure the trees thrive for years to come.<\/p>

Participants will be transported to the tree planting site by bus.<\/p>
