James McCall

Chief Sustainability Officer
HP Inc.

James leads a global team of sustainability innovators across HP. By reducing our environmental footprint, protecting human rights, and ensuring world class compliance/certification, we enable consumers, governments, and enterprise customers to make sustainable choices. In turn, this supports the next generation of circular innovation across the global economy. This team partners across all of HP's product lines to enable the company to operate responsibly while creating technology that makes life better for everyone, everywhere. With ambitious goals over the next decade, HP stands for a new era of progress – where climate change is reversed, human rights are universally protected, and digital equity democratizes opportunity for all. James joined HP in 2021 and has been an active sustainability leader and champion across industry for several decades. Prior to HP, James held various supply chain, engineering, and innovation positions at P&G during his 25-year tenure, including Global Climate and Supply Chain Sustainability Leader. James was instrumental in successfully decoupling P&G’s global growth from their environmental footprint, growing sales while reducing their absolute footprint. James received his BS in Electrical Engineering from North Carolina State University. He lives on a small farm with his wife, two sons, and a handful of pets. His passion is making the world a better place for the next generation.
