The need for sustainable business practices and outcomes is steadily increasing in an environment with growing uncertainty. Things like fear, uncertainty, and biases (both our own and those whose support we need) often derail our best-laid plans. Competing priorities can also come into play, even when the business case is clear. Going forward, we need a better understanding of the big-picture forces at play to increase our chances of delivering the desired impact.
