Frida Bengtsson

Frida Bengtsson from Sweden, global project leader for Greenpeace Antarctic Sanctuary campaign onboard the Arctic Sunrise in Punta Arenas, Chile, en route to the Antarctic for scientific research into the biodiversity of the Antarctic ocean. The scientists on board will gather data to strengthen the case for the creation of an ocean sanctuary in the Weddell Sea.

About Frida Bengtsson

 

Frida Bengtsson works for Greenpeace Nordic and is based in Stockholm.

She is the Global Lead for the Ocean Sanctuaries Campaign and the Pole to Pole ship tour.

She has also led Greenpeace’s 2018 Antarctic Campaign and multiple Arctic expeditions.

In her time at Greenpeace she has negotiated environmental commitments from both Norwegian and Russian Arctic Fisheries, and the Antarctic Krill Industry.
