McKenzie is an anthropologist who uses his expertise in culture to<br \/>\nadvise organizations on how best to thrive in increasingly challenging and<br \/>\nuncertain environment. Philip uses his quantitative background and Wall Street<br \/>\nexperience in combination with a qualitative understanding of social, economic<br \/>\nand cultural movements to unmask complex opportunities and identify significant<br \/>\ntrends that drive our future.<\/p>\n<p>Philip\u2019s work has placed him at the center of understanding the significance of<br \/>\nculture as a reflection of shared values. He has manifested that as co-host\/cocreator<br \/>\nof 2 Dope Boys &amp; a Podcast, a cultural trends and insights podcast.<br \/>\nHe is also the Global Curator of Influencer Conference, a global content<br \/>\nplatform that exists at the intersection of values, creativity, culture, and<br \/>\ncommerce. From its beginnings in 2010 in NYC, InfluencerCon has grown<br \/>\nto include London, Berlin, Detroit, Sao Paulo, Mumbai and Tel Aviv.<\/p>\n<p>Prior, he was the Managing Partner of FREE DMC, an influencer<br \/>\nmarketing agency that specialized in integrated marketing strategy, digital<br \/>\ncontent creation, and experiential events. In his roles with FREE DMC,<br \/>\nPhilip created strategic experiential campaigns for Jaguar, Sprite, Remy<br \/>\nMartin, Belvedere Vodka and others.<\/p>\n<p>After completing his MBA at Duke University\u2019s Fuqua School of Business,<br \/>\nPhilip joined Goldman, Sachs &amp; Co where he worked in Domestic Equity<br \/>\nTrading. He has had extensive trading experience in both the Healthcare<br \/>\nand Consumer Product sectors.<\/p>\n<p>Philip is a passionate supporter of the arts. He has been a Supporting<br \/>\nPartner of the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theatre since 1999. He is<br \/>\nformerly a Junior Associate of the Museum of Modern Art and a member of<br \/>\nthe Apollo Circle of the Metropolitan Museum of Art. He is a rabid music<br \/>\nfan and accomplished DJ under the name 9 Is Water.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his Duke MBA, Philip earned a bachelor of business administration<br \/>\nfrom Howard University majoring in finance with a minor concentration in<br \/>\nphilosophy.<\/p>\n<p>Philip resides in Brooklyn but travels extensively wherever the wind takes<br \/>\nhim. He is completing his first book titled No Shortcuts!
