She joined Teck in 2010 as Vice President, Corporate Affairs. <\/p>\n<p>Ms. Smith is responsible for a diverse portfolio that includes health and safety, sustainability, environment, communities, government relations, corporate affairs and relationships with Indigenous Peoples. <\/p>\n<p>Prior to joining Teck, Ms. Smith was the managing partner of a leading Canadian public relations firm in British Columbia.
