Sonal Pandya Dalal brings over two decades of experience in sustainability metrics development and assessment, thought leadership, and relationship management. As the Technical Director, Sonal plays a key role in the systematic evaluation and analysis of SASB\u2019s industry-specific sustainability accounting standards for each of 11 sectors and 79 industries in the Sustainable Industry Classification System.<\/p>\n
Sonal comes to SASB having served in leadership positions at Facebook and Conservation International. As a technical specialist, she drove the development of goals and comprehensive sustainability strategies across a range of industries. At Conservation International, she oversaw the Business and Sustainability Council, a forum for corporate leaders taking positive environmental actions in their businesses. She also served as a subject matter expert and advisor for the GHG Protocol and Natural Capital Coalition.<\/p>\n
Sonal holds a B.A. in Biology from Drew University and a M.S. in Conservation Biology and Sustainability Development from the University of Maryland, College Park.
