After graduating from HEC in 1988, Elisabeth spent several years in strategic planning at two advertising agencies before creating UTOPIES, the leading French independent think-tank and consultancy specialising in sustainability and positive strategies, in 1993. After 25 years, UTOPIES has a team of almost 50 people : ranked #1of best French sustainability consultancies since 2011 (Décideurs Magazine), it also is in the top-25 best marketing & brand building agencies in France as well as in the top-20 ranking of world leading sustainability reporting partners (CorporateRegister.com). UTOPIES was also the first certified B Corp in France and is now leading the French B Corp movement.

Elisabeth is acknowledged as one of the top European experts in sustainability strategies and positive brands: she has received the Veuve Clicquot Award for Businesswomen of the Year in 2008, and was made Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur that same year. She is author of several bestsellers, including a report on sustainable consumption written for the French Ministry of the Ecology in 2011. She sits on the Board of Directors of Nature & Découvertes, Rabot Dutilleul and several other NGOs and foundations (including Unis-Cités, the pioneering NGO for civic service in France). Ten years ago, Elisabeth also created Campus Responsables (the first network of grandes écoles and universities committed to sustainable development in France) and Mes Courses pour la Planète (the French observatory for responsible consumption).
