Mr. Gardiner is president of his own environmental consulting firm, which focuses on climate change and clean energy issues and advises non-profit and for-profit organizations, including the Retail Industry Leaders Association and Employers for Renewable Energy. The firm specializes in eliminating policy barriers that prevent corporate consumers from buying renewable energy. Prior to founding his firm, he served in the Clinton Administration as Executive Director of the White House Climate Change Task Force and as Assistant Administrator for Policy at the Environmental Protection Agency. Prior to joining EPA, Mr. Gardiner was the Sierra Club’s Legislative Director in Washington, DC. He has a Bachelor of Arts with honors from Harvard College.
