Christa is the CEO and Co-Founder of Leaders on Purpose, a multi-sector enterprise that links experts from the corporate world, government, non-profit and academia in support of private sector business efforts to tackle difficult sustainability challenges. In 2016, she co-founded LOP with colleagues from Harvard, the World Bank and the London School of Economics in support of unleashing organizational potential through organizational alignment, innovative partnerships and purpose-driven leadership.
Prior to this, she spent 15 years at Unilever where she was a founding member of Unilever FSNA Sustainability Council and served in Partnership, Business Development, and Brand Manager roles and launched the Digital New Demand Creation and Channel Trade teams.
Chris has worked with leaders across five continents on various sustainable development projects, through leading channel trade, sustainability, marketing and category management partnerships. Chris’s key area of focus is strategic human-centered design, identifying motivating factors and strategies that inspire change and sustain newly-adopted behaviors.
She holds an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management and is the winner of the TED-Unilever Sustainable innovation award. Chris is currently a “Professional of Excellence” at the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health and the Global Environment.
