This session will share the results of a major study on the impacts of automation events on the US workforce. Learn from Flex and others on how they plan to redesign the tools we use to evaluate automation events (e.g. redeployment, retraining, voluntary or involuntary termination, etc.) to assure that social impacts are accounted for and to enhance our decision-making. You’ll come away with an understanding of the ethical dilemmas brands face as automation changes the scope of how we currently see our workforce, and how to navigate the long-term implications of this.
