People increasingly expect business to stand for something more than just profit, and are prepared to reward those businesses that do so. But there is a disconnect between this purpose-based value system and the way professional sport is run. In fact, the traditional sport business model reflects much of what people consider to be wrong with society. Join Clif Bar and others for a panel to discuss the opportunities to embrace a more purposeful approach to harnessing the tremendous power of sport—at every level—to addressing the numerous challenges facing society right now and in the process reposition its role in society and its relevance to the people that it relies on for its future existence.
