Honey bees as well native bees are vital to the production of fruits, vegetables and nuts we enjoy every day. In fact, one-third of the world’s crops, including almonds, apples and cucumbers, rely on pollinators to some degree. Because of honey bees’ essential role in the production and farming of agricultural commodities and the important role of native pollinators, stakeholders are coming together to redefine bee health within the food industry. Join this session, moderated by the Almond Board of California, to hear about cross-industry collaborations to enhance bee health and how brands, academics and nonprofits are collaborating to develop solutions to maintain bee health for a thriving agricultural system and beyond.
