The City of Vancouver has committed to a clean energy future, meaning a city entirely powered by renewable energy before 2050 – including both the buildings we live and work in and the transportation network that moves people and goods. Many large corporations with presence in Vancouver have made similar renewable energy and sustainable transportation commitments.
In this session, we bring together the City of Vancouver with several of these corporations to discuss their plans around transitioning to renewable energy for heating and powering their buildings, movement of people and goods, and how this reflects within their supply chain and customer interactions. We will explore opportunities and challenges faced as government and business work together to achieve these shared outcomes.
