How do I choose the best pass type for me?

We’ve created a range of pass types to fit your individual needs. Compare the different pass types in the table below to determine the experience that fits your needs. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have further questions.

When can I buy tickets at best available rates?

Ticket prices for SB’18 Vancouver will increase 4 times. For more details on the different pricing tiers, see the chart below:

How do I buy a group of tickets?

SB’18 Vancouver is a great place for teams! Share the learning and inspiration with your colleagues with our 4-for-3 offer. Receive one free Leadership or Executive pass when you register three attendees for Leadership or Executive passes at full-price. We also have group packages of 10, 15 or more tickets for larger groups. Please contact us for more information on how to take advantage of this offer.*

I am a student. Do I qualify for a discount?

We understand tight budgets may limit some groups’ ability to attend. We are happy to offer college students and academic institutions a discount of 30% off registration fees. To take advantage of this discount, please contact us with information about your school or organization*.

I work at a nonprofit. Do I qualify for a discount?

We understand tight budgets may limit some groups’ ability to attend. We are happy to offer non-profits a discount of 30% off registration fees. To take advantage of this discount, please contact us with information about your school or organization.

I am registered press. How can I apply for a press pass?

What is the cancellation and refund policy? Can I transfer my registration to a colleague?

E-mail register@sustainablebrands.com for all cancellation and transfer requests.

If you must cancel for any reason you must notify us in writing by May 1st, 2018, for a refund less a $150 processing fee. Cancellations received after this date are non-refundable. You may transfer your registration to another person for a fee of $75 by providing authorization to the SB’18 Vancouver Team.

For cancellations after May 1st, 2018 we provide a credit for 50% of the amount paid, to use towards registration for any Sustainable Brands conferences taking place up until and including SB’19 Detroit on June 10, 2019. The credit expires thereafter and cannot be transferred further.

*All discount codes must be applied within the first 24 hours following your registration. After this 24 hour period, discounts and price adjustments cannot be applied.

Note: Discounts are not honored for All-Event passes purchased under the special 2018 pre-registration period.

How do I nominate a speaker?

To nominate a speaker for SB’18 Vancouver any other Sustainable Brands events, please visit this page.

How do I connect with fellow attendees?

Attendees will receive an email with login instructions for the SB’18 Vancouver Mobile App about a month prior to the event. There, you can update your profile and connect with fellow attendees.

What is the Redesigning Retail Track?

Hosted by RILA and the RCC, the Redesigning Retail track focuses on how brands, retailers and their ecosystem of stakeholders can come together to leverage environmental and social purpose, Redesign the Good Life and deliver it across all social sectors in a time of rapid disruption from many sides. The Retail Track is open to everybody with conference access.

I am a member of RILA or RCC. How can I register for a retail-specific pass?

RILA and RCC members can access a curated schedule that includes retail-specific networking and education for retailers and solutions providers. Email our partner, and track co-host at the Retail Industry Leaders Association (RILA) to learn more and register.

Travel & Hotel

Am I admissible into Canada?

Depending on where you are traveling from, you may need to apply for a Visa to enter Canada. There may also be travel restrictions if you have any criminal record. Learn more by clicking here.

Even if you don’t need a special Visa, it is recommended that every attendee have a copy of SB’s “Letter of Event Recognition” with them when they cross the border.

Which hotel should I stay at?

All of our partner hotels are great places to stay during your visit in Vancouver. Each hotel is located in downtown and is walking distance to the Vancouver Convention Centre. Explore the official SB hotels here.

When is the hotel booking deadline?

To ensure our community can find the right accommodations in the busy city of Vancouver, we have negotiated great rates at select hotels adjacent to Vancouver Convention Centre.These rates are guaranteed through May 14th, 2018. We strongly recommend booking your room as early as possible, to ensure you are able to find affordable housing in Vancouver during SB’18 Vancouver.

What is the housing policy?

In an effort to support our host city of Vancouver, keep our Sustainable Brands community together, and keep registration fees lower, Sustainable Brands is supporting the following housing policy: save $200 USD on your registration fee by staying within the official Sustainable Brands housing block – Fairmont Pacific Rim, Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver, Coast Coal Harbour Hotel, Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel, Vancouver Marriott Pinnacle Downtown Hotel, and Hyatt Regency Vancouver.

The deadline to book a hotel reservation is May 14th, 2018.

Attendees that have opted-in to the official Sustainable Brands housing block and haven’t booked a hotel room by the time the conference is over, will be charged $200 USD immediately following the conference. If attendees book housing in the official Sustainable Brands housing block and later cancel their reservation, the additional $200 USD fee will be automatically charged.

Does SB’18 Vancouver offer airline discounts to fly to Vancouver Airport?

Yes! We have partnerships for airline ticket discounts with both Delta Air Lines and WestJet.
Depending on your ticket type, Delta Air Lines is offering our attendees 2-10% off their airplane tickets when you use SB’s meeting code: NMRMW. See instructions below:
  1. Reservations and ticketing are available via www.delta.com/meeting.
  2. Select “Book Your Flight” and this will bring you to the “Book A Flight” page. Enter the meeting code NMRMW in the box provided.
  3. Reservations may also be made by calling Delta Meeting reservations at +1 (800) 328-1111 Monday-Friday, 7am-7pm CDT.
Attendees flying on WestJet can receive 10-15% off airfare when using SB’s meeting code: WLZD6A1.
  1. Reservations and ticketing are available via https://www.westjet.com/en-ca/book-trip/flight. Enter WLZD6A1 in the coupon code box.
  2. Select “Get Flights” and this will bring you to your flight booking page.
  3. Reservations may also be made by calling WestJet at +1 (888) 937-8538 (For phone reservations, you may need SB’s promo code for reference: YVR02).

How do I get from Vancouver Airport (YVR) to downtown Vancouver?

It will take approximately 35 minutes to travel from the airport to downtown Vancouver via taxi.
We encourage our attendees to “walk the talk” and use public transportation to downtown Vancouver. Learn more about the “Canada Line” and how to ride.

Do SB Corporate Members receive a discount to attend?

SB Corporate Members receive complimentary and discounted passes to attend SB’18 Vancouver. To register with your discount, get in touch with your colleague who manages the SB Membership or email members@sustainablebrands.com.

Are there special events for SB Corporate Members?

We are planning special programming for Members at SB’18 Vancouver, including a lunch on Tuesday. Check the program or subscribe to the Member Newsletter (by emailing members@sustainablebrands.com) for updates.
