Country Manager Brasil of LUCA Data-Driven Decisions, the Big Data unity of Telefonica, David has a degree in Economy (Rutgers University, USA) and a Master degree in Education in National Development (University of Sussex, UK). Entrepeneur in the field of technology for more than 20 years, he worked for Citrix, Catho, IT Midia, CMP Media and FDIC. He is also the founder of Lampada Global Services.
LUCA offers hightech services for organizations that intend to become data driven. Besides commercial projects in tourism field and urban mobility, LUCA has invested in the use of Big Data for developing society through the program Big Data for Social Good. That´s the reason Telefonica uses both its data and those ones avaiable on the internet for creating value to the world, contributing for Sustainable Develops Goals (UN).
