As the daughter of a journalist father, she also became a journalist. She wanted to become a specialist journalist and she studied economics. She started working while he was studying. She had a special education regarding newspapers and television. She worked as a reporter for many years in Ankara. She prepared and presented several news programs. She conducted interviews with political leaders. She lived in London for 7 years and was a columnist there.
Since 2010 she is broadcasting an economics program on Bloomberg HT, which also continues on the radio. Currently, she’s also lecturing at a college on economics. She’s trying to show students that economics is not something to be frightened of.
