Ann serves the farmers of Agri-Mark/Cabot Creamery Cooperative as Sustainability Coordinator. She manages projects that serve Cabot’s pledge of “Living within our means and ensuring the means to live”. As a cooperative, Cabot’s sustainability work is defined through principals of cooperation and community.

Ann has been committed to work that exemplifies how empowering communities can deliver solutions to today’s greatest problems. She brings several years of related sustainability experience to the role with a unique background that spans private, public and nonprofit work. Prior work experience includes the solar energy industry where she helped to develop a successful community solar program, CSR related public policy advocacy for the state of Vermont and adaptation to climate change research and public outreach in both Washington state and Vermont.

She has worked with Vermont’s Agency of Natural Resources Climate Change Team, the Institute for Sustainable Communities and the American Farmland Trust to provide guidance on policy structure and community organizing around mitigation and adaptation to climate change.

Ann was a graduate fellow for the Gund Institute of Ecological Economics where she co-authored the Vermont Climate Assessment in 2014, released as the first state level assessment published in the country, mirroring the National Climate Assessment.
