Paul is the Head of the IBM Watson Group for Europe and Middle East. IBM’s Watson Group is dedicated to the new era of cognitive technologies that was commercialised in January 2014 but first came into the public consciousness through its Grand Challenge and success on the popular US quiz show Jeopardy. Paul has held various executive and sales management roles in his thirteen years in IBM, most recently heading up IBM’s Server group in the United Kingdom and Ireland. He has worked for other IT vendors but also spent his formative working career in corporate financing for the Natwest Group now part of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
He lives in London, Middlesex, England with his wife, Tracey and two teenage children, Esmé and Noah. He enjoys cycling in his spare time and has tackled a few famous climbs in his time!
