Antonino Vaccaro is an Associate Professor of the Department of Business Ethics and of IESE’s Negotiation Unit. He is also the Academic Director of the Center for Business in Society and the founder of the Social Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship platform ( http://socialinitiative.iese.edu/ ).
His research and professional interests concern the fight against corporate crime and corruption and social innovation and social entrepreneurship.
He is also board member of profit and nonprofit organizations in Europe, the US and Africa and he has worked as expert witness in civil and criminal trials concerning white collar crime, top managers responsibility and fraud against consumers.
Since 2007 Nino has extensively collaborated as researcher and lately as volunteer with Addiopizzo ( www.addiopizzo.org ) , an antimafia NGO that has introduced an antimafia certification in Sicily, with Addiopizzo Travel (www.addiopizzotravel.it ), a social responsible tourist operator, and with several other social enterprises.
His researches have been published in leading peer reviewed scientific journals such as the Academy of Management Journal, Research Policy, Technological Forecasting and Social Change, Journal of Management Studies, Ethics and Information Technology, Journal of Business Ethics, The Information Society, etc. and have been featured twice by the Economist and Forbes (please, read the page research for more information).
Nino’s mission as professor is helping people to think creatively and differently. He believes that’s the way to boost positive, disruptive change in our society.
